For their fourth collection, Zhǎng-Shěng (meaning “growth”), Stovaigh looks to the landscapes of southwest China and the ancient philosophy of evolution. The collection celebrates a close dialogue between craft and nature, translating textures, flora, and geography into timeless garments.
Collaboration is central to the collection. Highlights include hand-kneaded ceramic buttons by Chinese ceramic artist Wu Jingwen, scarves woven with seasonal intention by Belgian artisan Janis, and fabrics developed in Japan using Washi paper, bamboo, linen, and wool. Each element is chosen with care, reflecting the brand’s respect for slow craft and material integrity.
